The Colt M5® Pistol (Model M5P556‑11H) represents the next evolution of Colt’s AR‑pattern platforms, combining enhanced rigidity, full ambidextrous control, and modern ergonomics in a compact, highly maneuverable pistol configuration. Built on Colt’s updated M5® architecture, this platform improves receiver and rail stiffness while retaining compatibility with standard AR accessories.

Constructed from MIL‑SPEC forged 7075‑T6 aluminum, the receiver set is finished with a Type III hard coat anodized matte black finish for long‑term durability. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the 11.5-inch chrome‑lined Colt® spec Cr‑Mo‑V barrel features 1:7 right‑hand rifling, delivering reliable on‑target performance in a reduced footprint without compromising service life.

This model features a fully ambidextrous lower receiver, including an ambidextrous safety selector, magazine catch, and integrated bolt release, providing enhanced control and adaptability for all shooters. The direct gas impingement system is paired with a MIL‑SPEC chrome‑lined bolt carrier group with a HP/MPI‑tested bolt, ensuring proven reliability under demanding use.

A Colt® 10.35"" free‑float handguard with Magpul® M‑LOK® interface offers a rigid, lightweight mounting platform, while the full‑length Picatinny top rail supports seamless integration of optics and accessories without impacting barrel harmonics.
