The Brownells BRN-22 Receiver is ready to be the foundation of your custom rimfire rifle build. Precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum billet, the BRN-22 is designed for compatibility with Ruger® 10/22® OEM components and provides a foundation for custom builds.

Available in two receiver configurations and two anodized finishes, the BRN-22 lets you choose the combination that best fits your build.

BRN-22R: Integrated Picatinny Rail

The railed BRN-22R features an integral 0 MOA Picatinny top rail for extra security and versatility in scope mounting, without requiring a separate scope base.

BRN-22: Smooth Top

The smooth-top BRN-22 features a traditional receiver profile with pre-drilled mounting holes compatible with standard Ruger® 10/22® scope rails.

Choose Your Finish

Matte Black Anodized

After machining, BRN-22 receivers get a tough matte black Type 2 hardcoat anodized finish (like the finishes found on many AR-15 receivers).

Clear Anodized

An alternative finish that preserves the natural aluminum appearance.

Precision-Machined Construction

Each BRN-22 receiver is precision-machined from 6061 aluminum billet to exacting tolerances.

Why machined instead of forged, like most commercial receivers? All you need to do is look inside at the smooth, clean interior to realize that a machined receiver can be held to much tighter tolerances for a precise fit with other parts.

• Pre-drilled cleaning rod access hole at the rear of the receiver, allowing bore cleaning from the chamber end to help prevent cleaning rod damage to the muzzle crown

Compatibility Notes

BRN-22 receivers are designed to work in conjunction with Ruger® 10/22® OEM bolts. As such, compatibility with all aftermarket bolts is not guaranteed.

Due to varying dimensions in aftermarket and some older factory aluminum trigger housings, fitting may be required.
