Springfield Armory invested a great deal of design and engineering into producing the best possible handgun grip for as many shooters as possible, but the slim size of the XDS means that some shooters would benefit from adding Talon Springfield XDS Large Grip Tape. The Talon Springfield XDS Large Grip Tape mounts solidly to any of Springfield's pistol frames, thanks to the company's rock-solid adhesive. The tape does not permanently alter the frame, though, allowing users to remove it if they choose. The tape covers the side panels, thumb rest, beneath the trigger guard and backstrap.
